After an unparalleled period honing his skills and achieving a PhD in Energy and Power Engineering from the University of London, UK, Dr. Rahim, an educational laureate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Engineering Management, has generously shared his wealth of knowledge not only in New Zealand within the Project Management field but also through professorships in Saudi Arabia. With vast experience, he has steered institutions in Plant Engineering and carried out essential facility management duties. Dr. Rahim has further propelled his career by overseeing academic departments at a renowned training college in Saudi Arabia, where he devoted his expertise to accreditation procedures and project management ventures. Continuously acknowledged for his work, Dr. Rahim holds memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Institute of Professional Engineers in New Zealand, the Institute of Refrigeration, Heating & Air Conditioning Engineers in NZ, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and is a professional engineer recognized by Engineers Australia as well as the Saudi Council of Engineers since 2012.
After majoring in Electrical and Electronic Communication from the University of South Africa, and with an honors degree in Learner Support, Jan joined the educational ranks of various illustrious technical colleges in South African before moving to Saudi Arabia as a technical instructor. Jan has since put his talents to work in the field of curriculum design, with specialist skills in the creation of study plans and program design as a whole.
Jan is a licenced professional technical engineer.
With many years in compliance roles at both educational institutions and in industry, Laurie has specialist experience in ISO certification and accreditation processes. Educated at the University of Warwick, UK, Laurie has spent many years in the Middle East, working in planning and development departments of various training institutions and the Saudi Arabian Royal Commission. Laurie's extensive international experience further strengthens his understanding of diverse compliance needs and global best practices in the education and training sectors.
Laurie´s extensive specialist certification and accreditation experience is focused on key standards - ISO 27001, 22301, 27701, and 9001, as well as intricate Saudi Arabian certification systems such as MASAR and NCAAA. Additionally, Laurie is well-versed in navigating international accreditation agency requirements including CEA, ABET, ACBSP, ACCET, and more.
